  7. You have an expert eye for winter beauty, Uwe. Each and every frozen puddle looks like a galaxy itself.

    Our winter is unusually cold. In Tokyo, the highest temperature seems to be below 5 degrees C, and in Nara, a little warmer by a few degrees. In the early morning, it is below zero, but I haven’t braved that cold for taking photos.

    BTW, are you having a business trip to maybe Australia? (“+30 degrees C outside temperature” which you wrote on my post is a hint.) Have a nice trip.

  8. Ice Art! Superschön. Und wie man sieht, hat es eine Menge Vorteile, nicht mitten in der Großstadt zu wohnen. Hier ist es nur lausig kalt, aber irgendwie eher eklig und weder mit schönem Frühnebel oder Raureif verbunden als mit ersten Karnevalsauswüchsen auf dem Straßenpflaster.
