Last week I had the opportunity to travel to a country in Middle Europe
where most of you haven't been before - I suppose.
where most of you haven't been before - I suppose.
Because it was a business trip and I had to work from dawn to sunset, I only had the chance to visit the old town of my hosts together with some collegues in the dark.
Enjoy some of my night shots of my host city and try to answer my question:
Where did I travel to???
(Country & City!)
Any ideas???
Try your best!!!
;-)
Oh, dear. I'm terrible at geography. Somewhere in Amsterdam? Lovely pics!
AntwortenLöschenNice try, Gail!
AntwortenLöschen"Close" to Amsterdam, only 1000 miles away... ;-)
LG Su
AntwortenLöschenHallo Uwe! Wo warst du denn? :-).
AntwortenLöschenVielleicht in Prag, Tschechische Republik? Wer weiss es...
Nice shots!
LG aus der Schweiz! Sandra
Hmm..did you say something about Poland earlier!?
AntwortenLöschenNight time photos are always very interesting! :) Great shots!
Nitra in western Slovakia.

Dear Uwe - Having been able to have free time for photography only at night is not bad at all. Because you have such a mastery of night shots and I like to see the city when it acquired special air at night. I know the county because you touched the topic on my blog. Thanks to the hint in the last photo, the city is Pamiatky.
AntwortenLöschenBy the way, tattoo is popular in that country? How about in Germany, or the whole Europe? If so, I wonder why… maybe it could be culturally fashionable nowadays.

Bratislaw Slovakia ?
AntwortenLöschenRiccardo
@Pieni: Poland is close, at least a neighbour country.
AntwortenLöschen@Anna: How did you find out it's Nitra??? --> 100% right. You win a refrigerator! ;-)
@ Yoko: Pamiatky??? That's the Slovak word for 'places of interest"... ;-)
@ Ciao, Riccardo! Bratislava was 90 km in the west, so you were very close... ;-)
Thanks for you participation!
@ Su and Sandra: Knapp daneben ist auch vorbei! ;-))
AntwortenLöschenBeautiful images of the town, somewhere that I will never visit.
Es sei dir also verziehen... ;-)
Und nun noch einmal Klartext: Nitra, Slowakei.
Krásný víkend,
Uwe.
Super Fotos.
