Test your geographical knowledge!

Last week I had the opportunity to travel to a country in Middle Europe
where most of you haven't been before - I suppose.

Because it was a business trip and I had to work from dawn to sunset, I only had the chance to visit the old town of my hosts together with some collegues in the dark.

Enjoy some of my night shots of my host city and try to answer my question:

Where did I travel to???
(Country & City!)

Any ideas???

Try your best!!!

Rügen - Koenigsstuhl

Koenigsstuhl chalk cliffs - Ruegen's famous steep coast
For the statisticians: The Königsstuhl has a total height of 118 meters above sea level.

Jasmund National Park is situated in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, in the far north-east of Germany. Its most spectacular feature is without doubt the Königsstuhl chalk cliffs, immortalised by the painter Caspar David Friedrich.

struggle for survival - trees versus chalk - the dynamics of the coastal erosion typical for this region

As well as white chalk for writing, observant visitors can spot ice-age sediments and fossils on the beach.

The firestone beach - millions of interesting stones to look for

One of my favourite sports on the firestone beach - stone stacking ;-)

...my masterpiece! ;-))
