Schorndorf rose market

Schorndorf, only 26 km away from the Swabian capital of Stuttgart, is known especially for two goodies: It's the home town of the ingenious German engineer Gottlieb Daimler; He was a pioneer of internal-combustion engines and automobile development. He invented the first high-speed petrol engine and the first four-wheel automobile.
And it's known for its half-timbered buildings (Fachwerkhäuser), which belong to the most beautiful of Germany.
