  3. I'm not really a 'car' person, but I've always liked the Porsche , not so much the new model, the older version has so much more character don't you think?

  4. Dear Grace, in my humble opinion Porsche managed to become a legend during its existance. So it doesn't matter if you are a car person or not, there's always something magic around the Porsche cars, especially around the older versions. In the Porsche Museum at Stuttgart everybody is excited about the cars and their presentation - doesn't matter if you are an enthusiast or not. For me they are a very fine example for the German art of engineering, though a very expensive example of art, too. The design especially of the 911 is legendary, no wonder it stands the test of time. You may like Porsche (cars) or not, but you can't ignore them!

    Uwe, VW driver.

  5. Love the green and white Porsche --- sporty, sleek and beautiful. Your comments on Sarasota Daily Photo today made me laugh. Thanks for the chuckle!

  6. How handsome Porshe cars are!! No wonder a number of people have been bewitched and fallen love with them. Especially I love the red one.
    Have a wonderful week.

  7. Shall I send the red Porsche to you to Japan, Keiko? Within several weeks you would be the most famous car driver on the streets of Nara between all the black, silver, white or dark blue Mazda, Nissan, Mitsubishi,... ;-)

  8. All these cars are so beautiful! You must have been in high gear to photograph them, Uwe. I’ll have the No.13 white convertible, please. I’d like to become one with wind, but not in winter. My husband would want a set of miniature cars of these. Thanks in advance. :-)

  9. OK, Yoko, the 320 HPs under the hood of the white Porsche Boxter Speedster will guarantee you a great appearance at every junction with traffic lights in the streets of Nara!
Keiko in the red cabrio, you in the white one...
...by the way: what was the in-town speed limit in Japan???

    ;-)

  10. Thank you! Actually I like red color like your loved Volkswagen. My son used to drive a red Roadster of Mazda before his marriage and sold out for practical reasons. So, I chose white this time. Speed limit in Nara City is about 50 km/h (40-60km/h), but no car seems to keep the rule. But be careful, policemen cruise the streets in so-called unmarked patrol cars.
