Reginald Kenneth Dwight at Wuerzburg

Würzburg, 2012-07-14, a wonderful summer evening with Sir Elton John,
born Reginald Kenneth Dwight, THE English rock singer-songwriter, composer, pianist and global super star.

Enjoy our pictures of a great, great concert on the place in front of the Wuerzburg Residence.

View from the rear stand, approx. 100 meters behind the stage.

Thank you, Elton, for an unforgettable evening!

  1. I do perceive your feel of excitement from entering the venue to end of performances and feel of contentment on your going home. I’m happy for you that you are blessed with good weather. I like it when darkness falls gradually during the outdoor performances while audience is immersed in the special world of music. Elton John looks so fine. Personally I think it’s better for him to lose weight health wise, but anyway he must have healthy digestive organs. You captured the performances very well with compact camera in such a huge venue when almost all the audience must have stood during the live. I’m a lifelong fan of Elton John. Thanks for sharing, Uwe.

The last image is so impressive. The lit-up architecture is Marienberg Fortress. Right?

  5. Looks like a GREAT concert!! I really enjoyed your photos! I've never been to Elton John's concerts. I sometimes go and see rock concerts at Tokyo Dome and some other halls, though. "Sorry seems to be the hardest word" is my favorite!!

Thank you for your lovely comment on my blog. I really appreciate it.
    Have a beautiful weekend!
