Yesterday more than 30.000 visitors came to Assamstadt, a small town in the north of Baden-Wuerttemberg with a total population of approximately 2.000.
Assamstadt is famous for its carnival, especially for the annual Shrove Monday procession (Rosenmontagsumzug).
This year exactly 47 pedestrian and vehicular groups participated in the parade.
