I took these photos of the oyster during a period of 34 seconds after the wave flooded the shell with a batch of North Sea water. I'm just thinking about patenting this brand new natural environment-friendly biodegradable beach-suited timekeeper I call the "beach oyster bubble-o-meter". To measure different periods of time one can use different types of shells...
