What comes into your mind,
when you contemplate / think about "summer beaches"???
Hordes of people, heat, yelling, noise, the smell of sun cream ...?
;-)

And what's you personal idea or belief about a perfect summer beach???
OK, there are certainly as many ideas about this issue as there are different kind of people and their personal preferences and commitments.
*** *** *** *** ***
I want to invite you to follow me on a trip to my (idea of a) perfect summer beach...
This one looks different from the first picture, doesn't it!?!?! ;-)
Is your idea of a perfect beach - even on the peak season - related to
rest & recreation, quiet (except for bird calls and the sound of the sea), beauty & harmony, pleasant temperatures & a light wind, sense of well-being, hang around & long beach strolls, looking for shells and relaxing in a beach chair???
--> Hey - that's absolutely what I prefer, too!!! ;-))
The only thing you have to take into consideration to get this is:
Don't try to be a part of the sheep flock!
In the morning or evening time during a sunny day the beach is to a great extend - yours!
Apart from some other savourers and connoisseurs!
Have you ever watched porpoises, also called mereswines [German: Schweinswale] in front of an overcrowded beach ?
Here's a porpoise mother with two almost adult youngs looking for fish, shells and conches...
...these ones were already whale food! ;-)
And the cormorant was waiting for a yummy bite of fish as well.
Driven by North Sea wind!
I hope you enjoyed my trip to a nearly perfect summer beach!
Now try to find your own one!
;-)
It's like the busiest street in the middle of Tokyo.
AntwortenLöschenSurely the 2 first ones are a hit.did you make them tehemselves?Where is it?Bondi Beach?
AntwortenLöschenIove the shoots.i dont have any preferances.I go where the intitution takes me.
wish you a great photo week!
Greetings Anita
I wouldn't want to be on the first beach. The second beach looks much more inviting. It looks perfect for a long walk to listen to the gulls and to enjoy the wind in my face and the smell of the sea. Have a great week!
Whoah too many people in the first one! Great pics and the empty beach is my fave :)
AntwortenLöschenToo many people in the first one! I'd just turn around and go home!! I love the North Sea wind photo - it's beautiful!
AntwortenLöschenThat first photo gave me the willies - I couldn't stand a beach that crowded! Where was that photo taken?
AntwortenLöschenI much prefer your notion of the perfect beach!
Thank you for linking up at http://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2015/08/bennett-place-bit-of-history.html
that first one is too scary! but I could go to the others! cheers from kid can doodle
AntwortenLöschenOh my! I would be crazy on that first beach. No thanks for me!!!
AntwortenLöschenYour favorite beach looks so lovely and relaxing place. I love ocean, gulls etc. So lovely view. Thanks for sharing!
Nice collection. There are so many people on that first beach. Wow.
AntwortenLöschenA deserted beach is paradise.
AntwortenLöschenOh my, you have captured the essence of a perfectly peaceful, beautiful day at the beach. The first photo is mind boggling. I'd avoid that at all costs! P.S. Today I posted 'The Rest of the Story' about my Milky Way image.
AntwortenLöschenThink you found a 'perfect beach' ~ wonderful photography!
AntwortenLöschenHappy Week to you,
artmusedog and carol
WHAT!?! Who can be on a beach that crorded? The other place looks much nicer.:) You know, we have very lovely beaches (mostly by lakes) in Finland and we love peace and quiet.:)
AntwortenLöschenYikes! That first picture looks far from a perfect beach - just imagine being in that - no thank you! Love the rest of your pictures though :) #ourworldtuesday
AntwortenLöschenI enjoy your idea of a perfect time at the beach. I love the solitude of a secluded beach with no people around. I can't believe that first photo. Who on earth would enjoy that?
AntwortenLöschenHi! I enjoyed your perfect summer beach photos. If I were there I would love the beach very much. Thanks for sharing.
AntwortenLöschenBeautiful beach shots! It's hard to find those quiet ones.
AntwortenLöschenMore a fan of the quiet beaches too, it's hard to relax when you are surrounded by dozens of noisy people! Luckily in Ireland most beaches are quiet :) Love the shot of the streaming flags in the wind
AntwortenLöschenSuch a wonderful series! I enjoy places beyond the maddening crowds. Tom The Backroads Traveller
AntwortenLöschenI'm all for the quiet too -- love the last shot.
AntwortenLöschenLovely summer pictures - although the first one does not look very inviting, I prefer the more quiet beach :)
Löschenbeautiful, beautiful, beautiul beach and pictures!
AntwortenLöschenI really like your way of presenting this post, Uwe, including fabulous photos. What a blessing to be part of such a magically sublime sunset scene! The last image reminds me of Buddha’s Pure Land in the West. I’m not a summer person, but I like to spend time at beach; my favorite beach is off-season, even in winter. Let me finish this comment with a joke. “What is your purpose to go to Sylt?” “Porpoise.” Get it?
AntwortenLöschenYoko
Got it, Yoko!! ;-)
LöschenThanks a lot for your appreciated comment!
My photographs give you a good overview and understanding for the real reason to visit Sylt regularly: great landscape & great nature, combined with the comforts of life plus rest & recreation. The little whales fit perfectly in this scene of nature, peace and tranquility.
Hallo Uwe!
Super Fotos!! Super Ferien!!
LG aus der schönen Schweiz :-)
Beautiful post.
AntwortenLöschenBest regards!
These are such wonderful captures. I just loved the one of the flying ribbons.
AntwortenLöschenThis does tempt me to plan a beach visit.
Hello, Uwe! Thank you for visiting my blog!
AntwortenLöschenYour moon photos in the other post are great. Indeed the full moon looked very beautiful two nights ago.
I leave a comment here, however, because these beach photos make me dream - not the first one obviously... :) Your photos are really one more beautiful than the other. The two last ones are my favourites.
I love to go to the beach all over the world! Love your shots a lot. Your other posts are great photos, too.
LG Su
