Altes Land

Altes Land is an area of reclaimed marshland straddling parts of Lower Saxony and Hamburg. The region is situated downstream  from Hamburg on the southwestern riverside of the Elbe.

The region is the biggest continuous fruit orchard in Central Europe - 76.8% of the trees are apples, 12.7% are cherries.
The rest (10.5%) seems to be dandelion at the moment... ;-))

Currently the cherry trees are blooming...

...and the apple and pear blossoms are shortly before.

The first two apple blossom I found today...
