Viburnum × bodnantense
Bodnant-, Winter- oder Duft-Schneeball
The hybrid Viburnum × bodnantense (V. farreri × V. grandiflorum), also known as Bodnant viburnum, is particularly popular for its strongly scented pink flowers on the leafless deciduous shoots in mid to late winter.
These blossoming spring blooms I was able to capture last weekend in the Volksgarten / folks' park Vienna, the public parc between Vienna town hall and Hofburg.
Fed up with the long winter, too:
European Cornel (Cornus mas) - Kornelkirsche
and its first yellow blossoms.
