Tübingen

Tübingen, a traditional university town in Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany, is situated 30 km (19 miles) southwest of Stuttgart, on a ridge between the Neckar and Ammer rivers.

Tuebingen is famous for its well-preserved old town (Altstadt).
It survived the Second Wolrd War due to the city's (former) lack of heavy industry.

There are several places of interest / historic sights in the old town. One of the most beautiful is the historic town hall (Rathaus) at the market place (Marktplatz)
I captured the scenes last Tuesday evening, after a customer event at one of Tübingen's leading cutting tool companies, the company of Paul Horn GmbH.
(The second company in cutting tools at Tübingen is the Walter AG)

Paul Horn GmbH has been developing and producing grooving, side turning and slot milling tools since 1969; these tools occupy a leading position in the market. The products are used by automotive, general engineering, aerospace, hydraulics /pneumatics, jewellery and medical equipment manufacturers.
