Oh my, great captures and the futurist...Hallo Sir:)
Oh my, great captures and the futuristic robots of our future. In fact I know this largest robot trade fair in the world, AUTOMATICA, but never been to. Now feeling lucky, at least such a virtual visitor thru your great article.

A kinda nostalgia for me, 'cus my first meeting with robots happened when I was in Toyota-SA factory in Turkei. Can't forget how impressed seeing these smart guys working on welding and assembly lines of a car line! Amazing! They increase productivity in every area, but esp in the food and packaging industries.

Similar one to take place at my (2nd home) Stuttgart? Sounds superb! I'd really LIKE to be there to discuss the future of robotics at next door with AUTOMATICA... Tks for the link, very helpful, will be surfing on.

Btw.. yes, one of those ladies is me. Studied engineering, science before that; so technology carved in my DNA:) Even though I'm (re)directed into strategic planning and mngt (office work) after having worked in heavy industry and construction until 1999, I'm still interested in technology, machinery and all related to it.

(*) wouldn't you like to hear a hint on your improving turkish?
Well, we prefer to say "Hoşça kal" instead of "Güle güle". Both, "Hoşça kal" and "Güle güle" are very similarly. "Hoşça kal" is some more flexible. We generally use it for both sides, when someone is going and also when staying. "Kal = stay", and "hoş = nice". So, "hoşça kal" means "stay nicely" or "stay well" basically. In a reply to "Hoşça kal", both "hoşça kal" and "güle güle" can be said by the other speaker.
Uwe: Hoşça kal. (said by one who goes)
N: Güle güle. (the other is who stays)

This is the way we use:)

Besides saying hoşça kal, there are different type farewell words too, the most common one is this: "Görüşürüz", meaning "We (will) see each other", again soon.

Hope this is helpful:)

* I used to teach private turkish lessons (using japanese grammar), A-to-Z, kids to parents, as a part time job for executive japanese families living in Ist'l in the weekends. For a period of 7 yrs long I did it in parallel to my work-life, but from 2002's I had to leave because I could not breath anymore.

More tech-related articles are welcome, Sir. Please do not hesitate I'd appreciate!

Thanks & Hoşça kal:)Nihalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05921200854794301981noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2182004815896221476.post-78151402240646749712010-06-11T10:14:26.066+02:002010-06-11T10:14:26.066+02:00Boyz and their toyz! Or: Welcome on the playground...Boyz and their toyz! Or: Welcome on the playground for (mainly male) engineers and technicians. But more and more there are some young ladies getting interested in that stuff, too. ;-)

Of course you are invited to the next AUTOMATICA fair at Munich 2012. These types of faires occur on a two-year cycle.
So the next fair of this kind will be again in June 2010 at Munich.

A similar fair will be in September 2010 at Stuttgart: http://www.motek-messe.de/de/motekyou-wee becausehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13047534075417228528noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2182004815896221476.post-63328643834368814832010-06-10T23:10:29.597+02:002010-06-10T23:10:29.597+02:00Uwe,
